Retail License Requests
National License
Companies with retail product distribution beyond the borders of campus are required to secure a National License. Applications are reviewed by the University’s Licensing Department. The Department’s decisions are based on product quality, uniqueness, distribution, and proven success with other licensed properties.
The University of Notre Dame’s Licensing Program is affiliated with Fanatics Licensing Management. Companies wishing to apply for a National License should first contact Fanatics Licensing Management:

Campus License
Companies with retail distribution restricted to the Notre Dame campus are required to obtain a Campus License. The University’s retail operations are managed by Barnes & Noble College. Companies wishing to secure a Campus License should first contact the Hammes Bookstore to establish a “vendor” relationship. Licensing applications are processed through Fanatics Licensing Management.
